Where They Come From
Donghai County, China is known as the world's crystal capital and home to one of the largest crystal trading markets. Each year, vast quantities of natural crystal pass through this region. We choose to step into that source ourselves.
Every bead begins with selection from thousands of raw stones. We look for clear movement in the grain, a calm surface feel, and a quiet natural luster. It is not machine sorting. It is handled, compared, and chosen one piece at a time.
In Donghai, we read the material itself. In Shanwei and Ketang, we review the craft: cutting, drilling, polishing, roundness, and batch quality. In Liwan, Guangzhou, the final selection is made side by side: batch against batch, strand against strand, tone against tone. Only the most suitable pieces remain.
One of the world's largest crystal markets. Here we study raw stone, clarity, natural texture, and transparency before the crystal is shaped into beads.
A major colored-stone processing and trading center. We review cutting, drilling, polishing, roundness, and batch grading to decide whether the material can become a comfortable, lasting bead.
Liwan Plaza and the Hualin district gather hundreds of suppliers. Final choices are made through direct comparison: batch to batch, strand to strand, tone to tone.
